NITED NATIONS, NEW YORK CITY — September 24, 2025: Diplomatic Courier and BTS Spark will host an Education Leadership Workshop: “Redesigning Leadership for a Disrupted World,” during the historic 80th United Nations General Assembly. The workshop, convened in the Empire State Building on the sidelines of UNGA 80 in New York, forum is to be held in the SDG Media Zone at the UN Headquarters. The forum convenes a diverse group of thought leaders, practitioners, and policy shapers to explore how we prepare and support education leaders to thrive in this era of relentless change.

Participants will consider, in a world characterized by disruption, how education leadership models must evolve to meet the challenges of an era of relentless change. Key questions considered will include:  

  • What does “success” look like for an education leader in 2030?
  • How can we change leaders’ mindsets to be more comfortable with change and uncertainty?
  • How do leaders build trust in fragmented environments?
