Sign up and subscribe features

If a user wishes to subscribe to the Diplomatic Courier, we ask for contact information such as name, email address, mailing address, and financial information. Diplomatic Courier may ask for additional information, such as content preferences. This information is used to contact the user/subscriber about the content for which they have expressed an interest. PayPal, the financial institution working with the Diplomatic Courier will ask for financial information.

Financial information

Credit or debit card information and personal financial account information is considered “Sensitive Information.”   We do not collect credit card, debit card, or personal financial account information when you subscribe to our content, because we use a third party vendor via our fulfillment vendor PayPal, to process our subscription billing. When you provide payment information to subscribe to our content you provide it directly to PayPal and not to our website. PayPal is a third party vendor and has its own privacy policy, which may be different from ours. This Privacy Policy does not cover PayPal and is not covered by PayPal’s privacy policy.


Sending us emails, registering for the website, and subscribing to our content are completely voluntary and are by opt-in only.  You can opt-in by registering for our events, subscribing to our website, subscribing to our content, or by emailing us for information.  When you opt-in, you will also be opting-in to receiving promotional emails from us.

Registration and subscription

When you register or subscribe we collect your first name, last name, and email address in order to deliver requested items such as our newsletter, products, content, magazine subscriptions, or event invitations. Tell-a-Friend Feature

If a user elects to use our referral service for informing a friend about our site or specific articles, we ask them for the friend’s name and email address. Diplomatic Courier will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting them to visit the site or an email with the specific page or article. Diplomatic Courier will store this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email. The friend may contact the Diplomatic Courier at to request the removal of this information from the database at any time.
