[Diplomatic Courier:] In your experience, how can companies attract and retain top Millennial workers?

[Surya Kant:] Millennials are coming into the workforce and they would like to work for companies which have similar values, similar enablers, to help them grow. To attract them, to get the best out of them, to help them grow, nurture, we have changed as a company ourselves. We have to put together tools within the company. There’s a tool called Nommie, which allows people to express their ideas, form communities. Also find out, if I have a problem, they can post a query. There’s gamification on that. When we have to do idea generation in the company on various things that we do, this is an excellent platform for that. Then people also feel that they have a way to participate in the running of the company because as we harness those ideas, we also identify those people who had those ideas. Identification, recognition itself is a big part of the whole thing.
