Jeffery A. Tobin is a political science doctoral student in the Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs at Florida International University. He was a journalist for more than 20 years and covered all levels of government and politics, working most recently for CBS Interactive as managing editor. Tobin works for the Jack D. Gordon Institute for Public Policy’s research and analysis department. He holds an MA from the Kimberly Green Latin American and Caribbean Center at Florida International University and a BA in journalism from Webster University.
