Mary Utermohlen is a Latin America and wildlife crime analyst at C4ADS in Washington, DC. Her writing for the Diplomatic Courier focuses on Latin American issues and human rights issues in general. She has also written for the U.S. Army Training Brain Operations Center. She holds a BA in International Relations as well as minor degrees in Accounting, Economics, and Hispanic Studies from the College of William & Mary. She also studied in Cádiz, Spain, where she conducted research on the 15-M movement.
