"Women Leading the Future" Conference to Feature Diplomatic Courier
International Magazine Continues its Strong Support of Women
WASHINGTON, DC: Continuing its commitment to women around the world, the Diplomatic Courier is delighted to announce that Editor-in-Chief Ana C. Rold will moderate "Women & Girls: A Global Perspective" at the "Women Leading the Future" conference on Saturday, May 5, in Chevy Chase, Maryland. "Women Leading the Future" is hosted by Ladies America.
Mrs. Rold's distinguished panelists include:
- Christine Warnke, DC Women's Commission
- Alyse Nelson, President & CEO, Vital Voices
- Gina Reiss-Wilchins, Director, GirlUp, UN Foundation
- Daleela Farina, Care for Kenya (Women's Outreach Program)
"This weekend, at 'Women Leading the Future,' a constellation of bright women will come together to quip how old perceptions about gender roles in leadership have changed for women in the United States and abroad," said Rold. "The Diplomatic Courier is proud to be a partner for the event and moderate one of the panels."
Previously in March, the Diplomatic Courier convened an intimate "Ambassadors Roundtable" with executives, diplomats and media to discuss challenges and opportunities facing women and girls around the world.
In addition to being a presence at most major international events, the Diplomatic Courier maintains an aggressive publication schedule to address the world's most interesting traditional and non-traditional issues. The March/April 2012 edition was primarily dedicated to a series of articles surrounding International Women's Day, but also includes a stunning photo journal by Sebastian Rich on Afghan refugees in Pakistan, Lara Setrakian's article "Anatomy of an Arab Transformation," and more.
