Cenk Sidar is the founder & managing director of Sidar Global Advisors (SGA), a Washington, DC-based global macro research and strategic advisory firm, assisting top financial institutions, foreign governments, and multinational corporations. Prior to starting SGA, he served as a director of the American-Turkish Council and oversaw the defense and infrastructure programs. Sidar started and led a youth social democratic movement between 2003 and 2005. Currently, he is an active member of Turkey’s main opposition party (CHP) advising party leadership on foreign policy and macroeconomic issues. He holds an MA degree in international relations from Johns Hopkins University (SAIS).
