Chrisella Sagers Herzog is the managing editor for the Diplomatic Courier, managing day-to-day administration of the website and social media sites, as well as assisting with content management and publication of the print editions. She began with the Diplomatic Courier as a Washington, D.C.-based correspondent, covering daily press briefings and events, and writing for the website and print issue. Her studies at the University of Utah include an Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Middle Eastern Studies. Her focuses are on Central Asian culture and languages, and she speaks Farsi and Pashto. Chrisella is also currently researching the role of religious groups in the development of civil society, and writes on societal movements such as Occupy Wall Street for various organizations.
