Chrisella Herzog is the Managing Editor for Diplomatic Courier. In this role she oversees the content selection of the magazine’s bi-monthly print editions and daily website, its social media presence and outreach, as well as provides on-the-ground coverage of global summits, including World Economic Forum Regional Meetings, the United Nations General Assembly, the Social Good Summit, and the 2012 NATO Summit in Chicago.
Since 2011, Mrs. Herzog has also been the Managing Editor of the annual commemorative publications of the G8, G20, APEC, and BRICS Summits. She has covered and overseen the content selection for the official publications of Summits in France, Mexico, Russia, Indonesia, Brazil, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Mrs. Herzog’s began her career as Washington Correspondent at the Diplomatic Courier, covering daily press briefings and events for online and print. She received dual Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Utah in political science and Middle Eastern studies, with emphasis on International Relations and Central Asian languages. Mrs. Herzog is a member of the National Press Club (NPC) in Washington, DC, and a founding member of Salt Lake City’s Impact Hub. She currently resides in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she is researching a book examining the Islamic Republic of Iran’s foreign policy.
